Ania’s voice captivates audiences of all ages with her pristine vocal control and brilliant
stage presence. She has performed at multiple venues including Orchestre Métropolitain in
Montreal, Carnegie Hall in New York City, and most recently at the El Mocambo in Toronto.
Prior to graduating as M.Mus at the University of Ottawa, Ms. Hejnar was a member of Opera Lyra Ottawa’s Young Artists Program, performing the roles of Mabel in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance and the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte.
Ania is often asked to perform as the soprano soloist in Haydn's Creation, Handel's Messiah, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor
and Exsultate Jubilate, Vivaldi’s Gloria and Schubert’s Mass in C.
